What role does creativity play in the community?
Creativity is at the heart of everything we do. Our work focuses around our four key values: imagination, bravery, belonging and impact.
Through a rich programme of creative events, performances and activities, we share Jewish stories with the world and celebrate both, our uniqueness and our many similarities.
We host concerts, theatre performances, and film screenings in our beautiful historic synagogue, creating a space where heritage and contemporary creativity meet.
Our Learning Studio is regularly filled with community groups, families, and schools who join us for arts and crafts sessions and baking workshops, exploring Jewish history and culture through hands-on, sensory experiences.
By working collaboratively with artists, educators, and local residents, we use creativity as a bridge between communities, fostering empathy, curiosity, and a sense of belonging that extends far beyond our museum walls.
